I'm Puttin' On My Top...or

A Topor is kind of like a Hindu Top Hat.  It's worn, by the groom, for a Bengali, Hindu wedding.  Typically white and also fragile made from a plant material called Sholapith.  This is a is a dried milky-white spongy plant matter which can be pressed and shaped into delicate and beautiful objects of art.

But not to be done by the groom the bride also wears a beautifully designed headpiece, made from the sholapith.
