Happy Veterans Day

Veterans are the men and woman who have served in armed service.  It coincides with other holidays such as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I. (Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect.)  Hence the reason Veterans Day is celebrated November 11.

I knew I would find a slew of Military wedding videos (while searching on Vimeo).  I didn't expect to find this.  "A Soldiers Vow" (an Indonesian Special Armed Forces) begins with just that, a vow that an officer is telling his bride, what she should expect from him, aaaaaand she should expect a lot of heart ache.  Curious, but he also reveals he will be breaking his own heart too.  This is beautiful video not only documents this family's dedication to their traditions, but it also highlights their commitment to the Indonesian Armed Service.  The video is the work of AXIOO.
