For richer or poorer, in sickness or health, can your man carry you on his back like a ... donkey. It is a fun tradition done at the end of the wedding. The groom carries the bride around the room symbolising his ability to care for her. But wait, he really is the man because after he carries his bride, he also has to carry his new mother in law. OMG! I know it is all in fun, but that has got to be awkward.

Awkward, yes, but truly a moment of amazing hilarity! Thankfully though most couples opt out of that.
