In some traditional Jewish weddings, a couple is wrapped in a Prayer Shawl called a Tallit, when the Rabbi has blessed them.  The Tallit represents 613 commandments (WOW, people have a hard time remembering 10).  The Tallit symbolically protects the couple in spiritual strength of Judaism.
